A few days ago, Hannah created this list of her Top Ten Movies ever! I wanted to post it on here because #1) I love most of these movies too! lol and #2) This isn't a site about ME, its about me and my friends! Might as well have stuff from my friends on here too!! So here's the list - I made some comments that are in italics. ENJOY!
This is a hilarious movie about a complete dumb blonde who goes to Harvard and then she comes out not as dumb. Reese Witherspoon is a really great actress. And Luke Wilson (who is her boyfriend) is cute. Watch this movie if you want a chick flick comedy.
(BUAHA. Awesome. LOVE this movie! The second one wasn't as cool though.)
9. Gone With the Wind-
This is a really old movie that’s set during the Civil War. It’s about this girl named Scarlet O’Hara and all her husbands. It was very good but also confusing. 4 hours long and like every one dies or leaves. It’s one of those movies you have to watch a million times to understand. I would recommend this if you have a lot of time on your hands.
(My mom was like OBSESSED with this movie! We have it on VHS. I remember watching it when I was like 7 and not understanding it, but thinking that the dresses were cool LOL)
8. Pirates of the Caribbean-
This is such a great movie. Very good costumes and stuff. And of course Orlando Bloom. I also like who ever plays Elizabeth. It’s also surprisingly funny and has cool music. If you like pirates you’ll like this.
(HEHEHEHEHEHEH. I think most of you know what I think of this! JOHNNY DEPP IS THE BEST ACTOR EVER. He rocks! He's totally hot too LOL. And Keira Knightely plays Elizabeth - she's actually dyslexic! HEHE I just watched this with my sister and her friends. This movies absolutely rocks my socks. They're making two more too! I think the next should be a sequel, and the third should be a prequel. Some people say it'll ruin the first, but I have faith in the awesome writers and actors. Man, I could go on forever about it, but don't worry, I won't!)
7. Bring it On-
A totally awesome cheerleader movie. Eliza Dushku rocks. This is so funny and has really cool music. There are also really funny cheers.
(Yes, I love this movie. *I'm sexy, I'm cute, I'm popular to boot! I'm bitchin, great hair, the boys all love to stare!* LOL BUAHA.)
6. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets-
This one doesn’t need much explanation. I am a complete Harry Potter nut and I have read all of the books 15 times so of course I loved this movie and I saw it on opening day. And Daniel Radcliff (spelled wrong) is cute.
(I can't WAIT until the third!!! Whee!! The books are so totally awesome.)
5. Lord of the Rings: Return of the King-
This was an awesome finish to the series. I saw it with Amanda and we were both crying by the end and I don’t think it was even supposed to be that sad. Lots of fighting scenes and great special effects. And of course there’s Orlando Bloom. This movie is 3 and half hours long so if you want to see it takes pretty much all day. I think that EVERYONE should watch ALL the Lord of the Rings movies.
(Haven't seen it... YET.)
4. Sweet Home Alabama-
Such a great chick flick. And Reese Witherspoon is in it! About a girl from a little town in Alabama who finds her soul mate when she’s 10 and they get married but then she leaves and goes to New York City where she doesn’t go home for 7 years and then she meets some other guy who proposes to her but she has to go back to Alabama to divorce her first husband. And of course in the way of chick flicks she finds that she still loves her first husband. This has such an awesome plot. I first watched it on New Year’s Eve but I wasn’t watching it closely so I didn’t think it was that great but after I watched it again I really liked it.
(Reese Witherspoon is SO cool. She's so pretty too! *Jealousy* lol)
3. 10 Thinks I Hate About You-
This is about a rebel girl and a rebel boy who gets paid to take her out and then of course they fall in love. Julia Stiles is really awesome and Heath Ledger is so hot. This is such a funny movie and I really loved it. Amy likes it too.
(YES. Before I *discovered* Johnny Depp, this was my number one movie. I love it so much! Hilarious. Its supposed to be like Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew, I think..)
2. Finding Nemo-
One of the best movies ever. So hilarious and so cute. Dory is the best of the best. And “Just keep swimming.” is the best quote from a movie ever. I recommend this to anyone.
(DORY IS THE AWESOMEIST. This movie is so great! AH! I love it!)
1. Titanic-
This is the best movie I have ever seen. And I think most of you know the plot if it. I laughed! I cried! Well mostly I just cried. Not only is this the best movie I have seen it is also the saddest. I sobbed literally for the last 20 minutes of the movie. And also a huge plus about this movie is that Leonardo DiCaprio is in it. He is the cutest person on the planet. I would recommend this movie if you’re depressed about something and want something even sadder to take your mind off whatever you are depressed about. I completely loved this movie.
(OMG. I saw this on NBC again a few weeks ago, and I had totally forgotten how much I loved this movie (and LEO! lol) SUCH a sad movie. Its the first one I ever was able to cry at, which is like awesome because my brain never lets me cry at moves for some stupid reason. But yeah, I LOVED this movie sooo much. OH, and if you like Leo DiCaprio, you should see "Catch Me If You Can" which is AWESOME lol.)
